Insomnia must be the word of the day! I think a nap is in good order. I did have a great night's sleep, though, after all that blogging on the subject.
You have such a wonderful wry humor, puts me in mind of Dorothy Parker's “mutters.” Sorry about the inspiration for this one, but I wouldn't knock the poem!
Wow! Who'd a thunk that a quickie like this would be so well-received?Thank you very much for your generous comments on such an off-the-cuff piece.(imagine me curtseying)Oh and Deb, linking me with Dorothy Parker has put me on Cloud Nine (which is rather appropriate considering the title of YOUR blog!)P.S. Folks – had an absolutely delicious slumber last night!Kat
I can relate to that! Even tho' I'm LOL at your misery…I will read this next time I have an “Insomniac Track” night. As far as 'crap poem'–I think funny!
You are a hoot! It's not a crap poem at all. Your few words say a lot! Hope tomorrow is a better sunnier day!Cynthia

It's like an insomniac nursery rhyme and crap looks like the opposite of carp as in carp diem. I hope you didn't have to stay up too late writing it!
